The primary functions of this office are voter registration and party enrollment. This office supervises all elections, primaries, and referenda, and maintains accurate records of names and addresses of all voters in the Town of Winchester.
To register to vote, one must be a U. S. Citizen; a resident of Winchester; at least 17 years old (must turn 18 before election day); and have completed confinement and parole, if previously convicted of a felony. A registered voter may enroll in any party that he or she chooses, or may register as an unaffiliated voter.
A Republican Primary will take place on Tuesday August 13th at Pearson School, 2 Wetmore Avenue, from 6am-8pm.
Early Voting days in the Town of Winchester prior to the November 5, 2024 Presidential Election are as follows: October: 21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31 November: 1,2,3 Early Voting Hours: 10am to 6pm except on October 29th and 31st, the hours are 8am to 8pm.
Same Day Registration (SDR) will be available on Tuesday, November 5th to residents who have not registered prior to the cutoff date of Friday, October 18th.
