Social Services

The Town of Winchester Director of Social Services/Liason for Homeless Services, works proactively to maximize existing programs and coordinate services to benefit individuals and families and to build a healthy community. The Director of Social Services brings together and implements a range of social services; provides direct crisis intervention; assesses the psychosocial, economic, and physical needs of youth, adults, and families; assists residents with applications for, and the procurement of, support services; and make referrals, as necessary.

Ms. Vaill holds a Master's degree in Leadership in Human Services from Springfield College and was born and raised in Winsted and New Hartford and has generations of family ties to the town of Winchester.
