The Town of Winchester Director of Social Services/Liason for Homeless Services, works proactively to maximize existing programs and coordinate services to benefit individuals and families and to build a healthy community. The Director of Social Services brings together and implements a range of social services; provides direct crisis intervention; assesses the psychosocial, economic, and physical needs of youth, adults, and families; assists residents with applications for, and the procurement of, support services; and make referrals, as necessary.

Community Service Information is also available by calling 211. 2-1-1 is a free, confidential information and referral service that connects people to essential health and human services 24 hours a day, seven days a week online and over the phone.
