The Winchester 82nd Annual Pet Parade, hosted by The Rotary Club of the Torrington & Winsted Areas, will be held this Saturday, May 19, 2018. Children from Winsted and surrounding areas are invited to join with their four-legged friends for a walk down Main Street. Awards are given for the top three in each division and every entrant has a chance to win a bike or a Kindle Fire. This is a tradition that the Rotary Club hopes to continue for many generations.
The parade steps off at 2:00PM but participants should plan on forming up at about 1:00PM. The assembly area is in the West end of town, on Meadow St. near the intersection with Division St. The route is East down Main St. ending at East End Park.
