The Winsted Water Works will conduct water main flushing program in sections of Winsted on Tuesday, November 8th. Areas to be flushed include Meadow Street, West Main Street, Coe Street, Lake Street to Oak Street. The purpose of the water main flushing is for routine maintenance.
Water main flushing will take place between the hours of 10PM to 6AM. Please note the flushing process may cause discolored water and reduction in pressure. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition persists, please contact the Department of Public Works at (860) 379-4101.
