WATER MAINS TO BE FLUSHED IN WINSTED
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The Winsted Water Works will continue water main flushing program in sections of Winsted Monday April 8, 2024.
The first areas to be flushed will be Woodland Ave, Cook St, Laurel St, John St and Hubbard St and adjacent areas.
The purpose of the water main flushing is for routine maintenance.
The water main flushing will take place between the hours of 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Low pressure and discolored water are to be expected during flushing. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition persists, please contact the Water Department at 379-4101.
