Call for Volunteers!
Each year for Memorial Day the VFW Post 43 & 159 puts out flags at the graves of service men and women.
This year the VFW will be putting out flags at our cemeteries on Sunday, May 24 starting at 8:00am. It is especially important to keep this tradition going as so many traditions have been canceled this year.
If you are interested in volunteering please meet at East End park at 8:00am on May 24.
Due to the unique time we are in, volunteers are asked to please wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidance especially because many of the volunteers will be older veterans that are more susceptible to serious complications of COVID. If you do not have a mask please let us know and we will work to provide one.
