A press conference is scheduled for this coming Friday, January 14, 2022, at 3PM with the Town Manager, members of the Board of Selectmen, and invited guests to launch two major business investment programs: the Business Start-Up Program and the Façade Improvement Program. To learn more about these Town investments in our local businesses, please mark your calendars and tune in then! The press conference will be held at Town Hall and will be livestreamed for public viewing.
In addition to the press conference, the Town Manager will be holding informational sessions via Zoom at Noon and at 4PM on Friday, January 14th, to talk about the details of these programs. These sessions are designed for anyone who currently owns a business in Winchester/Winsted or who is considering opening a business in town. Detailed information about who qualifies for funding under these programs and how to apply for them will be made available at these planned informational sessions.
