The Department of Public Works is advising residents and business patrons that some crosswalks and stop bars will undergo fresh line painting on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. The line painting company will be in town, beginning their work in the evening at 8PM on Tuesday night. The following roads will have temporary closures during the overnight hours to allow the paint to dry:
- Bottom of Spencer Street at the four-way intersection with Hinsdale Avenue
- Chestnut Street in the area of Chestnut Grove Apartments
- Willow Street will be limited to one-lane so that the crosswalk between the ball fields and Winsted Oil can be painted
