The Town of Winchester's Conservation Commission is hosting a symposium led by Laura Hart on easy steps we can take to improve our water quality on Thursday, April 20th from 7pm to 8pm.

Please join the Town of Winchester as we discuss the many ways our citizens can make a difference by incorporating
simple yet effective practices for improving water quality and helping our community be ‘river
smart’.

Laura Hart is the Conservation Director of Farminton River Watershed Association.

Laura enjoys working on projects that connect people with the environment, whether it is through education,
project development, or communicating in the written word.

She runs the water quality program, from the
headwaters in Massachusetts to the confluence with the CT River in Windsor. Laura works with the Farmington
River Coordinating Committee, a group who protect the upper Wild & Scenic designated section of the
Farmington River.

Join us in person at Town Hall, 338 Main Street, 2nd floor, P. Francis Hicks Room
