On May 17th at approximately 1800 hours, officers were dispatched to Greenwoods Garden apartments on Gay Street after receiving a report of suspicious persons at that location who may be dealing drugs. Officers located Nicholas Gables, age 33, in the area and arrested him on the strength of an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in Court 2nd Degree. During a search of Gables incident to arrest, he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and fentanyl.
Gables was taken into custody and additionally charged with two counts of possessing a controlled substance within a school zone in violation of Connecticut General Statute § 21a-279(b). Gables posted bond and is scheduled to appear at Superior Court in Torrington (GA #18) on 05/29/2026.
