The Planning and Zoning Commission has created a Short Term Rental Review Committee to examine the prevalence of short-term rentals in town as they consider the possibility of some type of regulations to govern the practice. A public informational meeting has been scheduled for Monday, July 2, 2018 at 7:00PM in the Blue Room at Town Hall, 338 Main Street.
This meeting is planned as an opportunity for the subcommittee to gather information and learn more about the experiences of residents with either leasing their properties short-term and/or from property owners who are neighbors to those that engage in short-term leasing. A short-term rental is often considered a lease or rental agreement that is available to folks for less than thirty days.
To this end, the committee is seeking the public's input in advance of the informational meeting through a brief online, anonymous survey.
