PARKING BAN NOTICE - WINCHESTER, CT
EFFECTIVE: Saturday, February 8, 2025, 8:00 PM through Sunday, February 9, 2025, 3:00 PM
A mandatory parking ban will be in effect for all streets within Winchester, Connecticut. During this period, no on-street parking is permitted. Vehicles left on town streets during the ban will be subject to fines and/or towing at the owner's expense.
Law enforcement will be actively patrolling to enforce this parking ban throughout its duration.
IMPORTANT: The timing of this parking ban may be adjusted based on actual storm conditions. Town officials will continuously monitor weather conditions and road safety throughout the event. The ban may be lifted early if conditions improve sooner than expected or extended if the storm severity requires additional time for proper road clearing and safety measures.
Residents are strongly advised to:
- Move vehicles to designated off-street parking areas or private driveways before the ban takes effect
- Monitor official town communications for updates
- Ensure vehicles remain off streets until the ban is officially lifted
