PARKING BAN ISSUED – Mon. March 13, 2023, 10:00 PM until Wed. March 15, 2023, at 6:00 PM
Please be advised that due to the forecast of inclement weather the Town of Winchester has issued a town wide parking ban effective at 10:00 PM Mon. March 13th, 2023.
Violations of said parking ban may be subject to a fine and may be subject to towing of vehicle to a private storage facility with violator responsible for associated costs.
The following parking lots in Winsted will be available for residents to park in during the storm.
Pearson School
Hinsdale School
Batchelor School
Elm Street Municipal lot to the right of the Winsted Fire Station on Elm Street.
Old Bank of America lot at 44 Elm Street
Parking lot on Meadow Street near Lake Street
ANY VEHICLES PARKING IN THESE LOTS WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED BY 8:00 AM WEDNESDAY MARCH 15th, OR THEY WILL BE TOWED.
