NOTICE Parking Ban Issued
Saturday 1/6/2024 10:00pm until Monday 1/8/2024 6:00am
Please be advised that due to the forecast of 6”-12” of snow this weekend, The Town of Winchester has issued a town-wide parking ban effective at 10:00pm on Saturday January 6, 2024.
On street parking of vehicles is prohibited during parking bans. All vehicles must be parked off of public streets (town roads and state roads).
Violations of said parking ban may be subject to a fine and may be subject to towing to a private storage facility with the violator responsible for all associated costs. Towing will begin as early as an hour after the parking ban goes into effect.
During this time, public parking will be permitted at 44 Elm Street, Pearson School, Hinsdale School, and at the municipal lot to the right of the Elm St. Fire House. Vehicles must be removed from those lots by the end of the parking ban (6:00am Monday morning) or will be subject to removal.
