🚨❄️ Parking Ban – Town of Winchester ❄️🚨
A town-wide parking ban will go into effect Sunday, February 22, 2026 due to anticipated winter weather and the need for snow removal operations.
• Local Roads: Parking ban begins Sunday, 2/22 at 5:00 PM
• Main Street: Parking ban begins Sunday, 2/22 at 11:00 PM
The parking ban will remain in effect until Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM.
🚫 No on-street parking will be permitted during this time. Vehicles WILL be ticketed AND towed at the owner’s expense. This is necessary to allow plow crews to safely and effectively clear roadways.
We are providing this notice early so residents and businesses have time to make necessary parking arrangements.
âś… Parking IS permitted in Municipal lots at the following locations:
• Elm Street Lot (north of the firehouse)
• Old Bank of America Lot
• Pearson School Lot (off Wetmore) – parking along the left side only
• Meadow Street Parking Lot
