The Northwest Connecticut YMCA has scheduled a road race at Highland Lake, the Highland Lake 5K, for Saturday, September 25, 2021 beginning at 9AM.
Enjoy a scenic 5K trek around beautiful Highland Lake in Winsted! This beautiful course presents a challenge as it is mostly a flat course but does consist of a few gradual climbs. The 1-Mile Kids run and the 2-Mile walk option for adults means that this event is fun for the whole family. The 2-Mile walk option means that this event is fun for all!
The Highland Lake 5K marks the third race in the Northwest CT YMCA's Grand Prix Race Series, with the final event coming in October.
All monies raised during the Race Series go to support those who need the Y most, subsidizing memberships and programs for those who cannot afford it.
All participants, aged 21 and over, will receive one free beverage from Little Red Barn Brewers!
Check-in and Race Day Registration: 8:30AM until 9:55 AM
Race Starts 10AM
