The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation is offering short term relief for small business employers who have been affected by COVID-19. Small businesses located within the community of Winsted and Winchester qualifies. The application process goes live today at 3PM.
Funded by corporate and philanthropic partners, the Save Small Business Fund is a collective effort to provide $5,000 grants to as many small employers as they can.
To qualify you must:
- Employ between 3 and 20 people;
- Be located in an economically vulnerable community (Winchester has been identified as an economically vulnearable community); and
- Have been harmed financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The process is easy and quick...the application is short and is estimated to take only 10 minutes to complete. All that is needed is your business's W-9 form. Please note that according to their site, grants will be awarded on a weekly basis, but you only need to apply one time to be eligible for funding.
