Please join in a discussion regarding Safety on the Water at Highland Lake rescheduled for Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 6:30PM at the Town of Winchester Town Hall. Highland Lake is very popular for fishing, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. Everyone shares in the responsibility to ensure safe experiences for all.
Special guests for the discussion include Police Chief William Fitzgerald representing the marine control, Winchester Recreation Director Tanya Risucci, Michael Payton from Connecticut DEEP, Mayor Candy Perez, and others from the community. Discussion will focus on safety factors, boating regulations specific to Highland Lake, concerns residents have experienced, and ways we all can help.
