Town of Winchester Launches First Annual Community Vision Survey
April 9, 2025, WINCHESTER, CT – Town Manager Paul Harrington is pleased to announce the launch of the first annual Community Vision Survey, now officially open to all residents and taxpayers of Winchester. This 10-minute survey is an important step in shaping the Town’s future, providing local officials with valuable feedback to help guide Winchester’s priorities and decision-making over the next decade.
Whether your thoughts are critical, constructive, or complimentary, Town officials want to hear them. Be honest - this is your chance to say what is working, what is not, and what you would like to see in the years ahead. The more candid and thoughtful the responses, the more impactful the results will be. While an email or phone number is required to verify submissions, all responses are completely anonymous and confidential, and each person should submit the survey only once.
This first survey will be conducted exclusively online via Google Forms and will remain open through Wednesday, May 7, 2025. For residents without access to a computer or internet, public computers are available for survey use at the following locations:
1. Town Hall – Assessor’s Office or Land Use Office
338 Main Street, Winsted, CT 06098
2. Winsted Senior Center
80 Holabird Avenue, Winsted, CT 06098
3. Beardsley Memorial Library
40 Munro Place, Winsted, CT 06098
“This is a valuable opportunity for everyone who cares about the future of Winchester to help guide it,” said Town Manager Paul Harrington. “Your voice matters, and we hope all residents and taxpayers will take a few minutes to participate.”
