Charter Revision Questions on the November 3 Ballot
Winchester residents will have an opportunity to vote on proposed changes to the Town Charter as part of the November 3, 2026 State Election.
To help residents make an informed decision, the Town has prepared a Charter Revision Voter Information Handout explaining the proposed changes in plain language. The handout outlines what the Charter currently provides and what would change if the proposed revisions are approved. The proposals address the Town Clerk position, Registrar of Voters terms, service on multiple Town boards, the annual budget process, and terminology used to define electors and property owners.
