The Winsted United Methodist Church located at 630 Main Street will host a BBQ Chicken Dinner on Thursday, June 20th at 6PM. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids under the age of 12. Reservations are advised and may be made by phoning (860) 379-6386 or (860) 238-7536. Attendees may choose to eat in or take out. Delivery in the Winsted area is even an option! Please note that donations of non-perishable items to their food pantry are always appreciated.
The Winchester Center Congregation Church located at 1 West Road in Winchester Center will host their traditional Baked Potato Dinner on Saturday, June 22nd from 4:30PM to 6PM. Tickets for adults are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, children ages six to eleven are $7 while children under the age of five are free. Reservations are suggested as these dinners sell out quickly. Are you aware that the Parish Social Committee of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church offers complimentary dinners to Home-bound Shutins in Winsted? They will be delivering a complimentary dinner to registered shutins in Winsted at 12PM on Monday, June 24th. Please note that you do not have to be a parishioner to be considered for this dinner. If you would like to add a name of someone who is home-bound to their delivery list, please call Linda DiBerardino at (860) 489-7114 on or before June 14th. St. Joseph’s acknowledges the Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry of the Archdiocese of Hartford for the funding of the cost of their Parish’s elderly dinners. All meals are prepared by volunteers for which all are very grateful.
