It is with great disappointment that we must inform you of the cancellation of the much-anticipated 85th Annual Pet Parade along with the 89th Annual Laurel Festival Parade, scheduled for tomorrow, due to inclement weather. The rain forecast for the day poses safety concerns for our beloved pets and their human companions.
We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding this long-standing tradition, and we share in your disappointment. Unfortunately, we do not have a make-up date for the Pet Parade. However, the planning committee is exploring the possibility of participating in the upcoming Memorial Day Parade as a way to celebrate our furry friends and their contributions.
