The Northwest Connecticut YMCA has scheduled a road race at Highland Lake, the 5K Highland Hustle, for Saturday, September 28, 2019 beginning at 9AM.
Enjoy a scenic 5K trek around beautiful Highland Lake in Winsted! This beautiful course presents a challenge as it is mostly a flat course but does consist of a few gradual climbs. The 1-Mile Kids run and the 2-Mile walk option for adults means that this event is fun for the whole family!
All monies raised during the Race Series go to support those who need the YMCA most, subsidizing memberships and programs for those who cannot afford it.
All participants (INCLUDING KIDS!) will receive an official event T-Shirt if registered by September 19, 2019. Please click here to pre-register for the 5K Highland Hustle.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd Place for Male/Female overall. Top male and females in their respective age division will also be awarded a prize.
Check-in and Race Day Registration runs 8:00 AM until 8:55 AM. The Kids one-mile run begins at approximately 9:10AM. Refreshments provided after the race as will the awards.
