The Town of Winchester celebrates National Salvation Army Week. This commemoration serves as an opportunity to celebrate volunteers, donors, and program beneficiaries that our local Salvation Army serves. Regional Coordinator Pam Carignan and her staff are an important part of the town's response to needs of residents. Pam is a member of our regular partnership meetings with our Senior Center Director and Social Services Coordinator as well as the Caring4RCommunity committee. Among the many services thehe Salvation Army provides are a food pantry and clothing help, rental assistance, utility assistance, and help with job applications. In the summer, as part of their Back To School Program, the Salvation Army offers a backpack with school supplies to children in grades K-12.
