The Winsted Fire Department will hold its annual Fireman's Carnival at 75 Rowley Street, Winsted CT. on the following dates:
Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday, August 23, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm
Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm
Wednesday and Thursday will be Wrist Band Night, where the purchase of a special wrist band for $35, kids will have unlimited carnival rides.
The Beer Garden will host entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The food tent will include Fried Dough, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Tenders, Onion Rings and French Fries.
Raffle tickets with 7 excellent prizes will be available at the carnival grounds for purchase.
Friday evening, August 23 at 9:30 p.m. we will host one of the County's largest and most colorful fireworks displays. Rain date is Saturday
Saturday evening, August 24 at 6:00 p.m. one of the longest Fireman's parade will march the length of Main Street. More than 25 Fire Departments from throughout the state will look their best to compete for trophies.
The parade will start at Lake Street, follow Main Street past the reviewing stand, turn right on Rowley Street, and end at the Carnival Grounds.
