The Town of Winchester has entered into a construction contract with Shultz Corporation of Terryville, CT to complete a bridge Rehabilitation project on Smith Hill Rd at the Bridge. This work is being done as part of the budgeted Capital Improvements.
As part of the project, Smith Hill will be reduced to one lane with alternating one-way traffic during working hours beginning June 17th through August 16th to allow the work to be completed. The road may also be temporarily closed at times. Please plan accordingly. The progress of the work depends on the weather. Updates will be provided as work progresses.
