On Wednesday September 27, 2023, Officer Hubbard was dispatched to a call at a local business that involved a person who was attempting to pay with counterfeit money. A suspect has been identified and counterfeit currency that is labeled “Motion picture purposes,” was recovered. This investigation is on-going, and we are sharing to alert local businesses and determine if there are additional victims. Anyone who has any information or received similar currency is asked to contact the investigating officer.
