Governor Lamont has activated the state’s Severe Cold Weather Protocol beginning at noon on Monday, January 20, 2025, through noon on Thursday, January 23, 2025. We are expecting the coldest weather of the season thus far. Daytime temperatures are forecast to remain below freezing, with overnight temperatures in the single digits or below.
If the conditions persist through the end of next week, the activation may be extended. Please update/maintain your shelter and warming center information under the Daily Operations event in WebEOC and do not hesitate to reach out to the regional office with any needs.
Anyone in need of shelter is urged to call 2-1-1 to get connected to these services or visit 211ct.org to view a list of locations. Transportation can be provided if necessary.
