The FY17-18 Budget Preparation Timeline has been scheduled with the following dates, times and locations:
Wednesday, March 15, 2017: Town Manager to submit written budget proposal to the Board of Selectman as required by Charter
Monday, March 20, 2017 – 7:00PM: Town Manager and Finance Director to provide public presentation of the budget to the Board of Selectman at Regular Board of Selectmen Meeting (Town Hall, 338 Main Street, 2nd Floor – P. Francis Hicks Room)
Monday, March 27, 2017 – 7:00PM: Board of Selectman Public Hearing on Board of Education Budget (Pearson School, 2 Wetmore Avenue, Band Room)
Monday, April 3, 2017 – 7:00PM: Board of Selectman Public Hearing on FY17-18 Budget (Town Hall, 338 Main Street, 2nd Floor – P. Francis Hicks Room)
Friday, April 21, 2017: Final Recommended Budget filed with Town Clerk to be brought to Annual Town Meeting
Monday, May 8, 2017 – 7:00PM: Annual Town Budget Meeting (Gilbert School, 200 Williams Avenue, Auditorium)
Week of May 22-29, 2017: Budget Referendum as determined at the May 8th Town Meeting
