The Board of Selectmen intend to act on proposed revisions to three Town ordinances at their regular meeting scheduled for Monday, April 5, 2021.  Changes have been recommended by the Recreation Board to the following ordinances:   Section 41 Parking in Municipal Parking Lots Regulated, Section 65 Ordinance Regulating Hours of Parks and Beaches at Highland Lake, and  Section 128 Regulation of Conduct at Recreation Facilities.

At a November 6, 2018 town-wide referendum, a Town Charter change was adopted to eliminate the requirement of publishing the entire text and to eliminate the requirement for newspaper publication when considering future revisions to ordinances, instead allowing the publication on the Town’s website and any other place chosen by the Board of Selectmen.

These proposed changes currently pending before the Board of Selectmen may be found under a tab titled Legal Notices on the homepage of the website.  They are also included as a tab on the Town Clerk’s page and as a tab under the Recreation Board.

Please remember to sign up to receive agendas and minutes through the Town's website E-Subscriber Services.
