Residents and visitors to Highland Lake are advised that a weed treatment has been re-scheduled from Tuesday, June 18th to Wednesday, June 19th due to weather. The purpose of the chemical treatment is to control the growth of non-native aquatic vegetation. Thank you for your understanding as we work to insure the treatment has the most benefit for Highland Lake. Please do not use the water for the following purposes until the date noted:
- Boathing, Fishing and Swimming: Avoid Treatment Area
- Watering of Livestock: 1 DAY
- Drinking and Cooking: 3 DAYS
- Irrigation: 5 DAYS
