WATER MAINS CONTINUE TO BE FLUSHED IN WINSTED
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The Winsted Water Works will conduct a water
main flushing program in sections of Winsted starting May 06, 2025.
The areas to be flushed will be on the Williams
Ave, Litchfield Ave, Hinsdale Ave, and Hillside Ave. The purpose of the water
main flushing is for routine maintenance.
Water main flushing will take place between
the hours of 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Low pressure and discolored water is to be
expected during flushing. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during
this period. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition
persists, please contact the Water Department at 379-4101.
